Did you ever experience that feeling that there is something just not quite right? And although you have no any logical explanation for it, many times this intuition or gut feeling, turns out to be right?

 

Well, that’s our body trying to tell us something picked up from the reality and transforming it into emotions.

 

Because emotions are body wisdom. A gift that we’ve been given. Signals from deep within us. They are faster than intellect and much deeper.

Feelings like love, happiness and joy are signals telling us that we are doing something correct. That we are making positive choices that serve us. Whereas feelings of anger, fear or sadness are showing us that something is wrong and we should stop or be cautious.

 

Are they always right? Of course not. We all had some emotional reactions that we regretted later on. And that’s why it is so important to bring consciousness to your emotions. To acknowledge, accept and honour them. Listen to them.

 

If you treat your emotions as a tool of awareness, they can help you in making the right decisions and save you from making mistakes. They can help you to be more resourceful, solid and grounded. And help you to understand and deal with almost any issue, any hurt or wound in your life.

 

Every emotional state can be created consciously, positive or negative. They can be generated if you do certain things. It is extremely important to understand it, because when you do, you can choose which states you want to experience on a daily basis, and which you do not want to allow in your life.

Do you ever think deeply about your emotions? What are they? What do they try to tell you? Are you paying attention to your feelings?

 

I know that for me the most important emotion I want to experience every day is simply feeling happy. To achieve that state I think about and focus on all these things that make me happy, like:

my family, being together, feeling fit and healthy, travelling and being adventurous, ocean and the mountains, sunny warm weather, nature, dancing, spending time with good friends, good healthy food, money in the bank, masterminding with like minded people, helping others, making others happy…

Now, think about what makes you happy… then focus on these things and make time in your life to do more of them on a daily basis.
