What’s stopping YOU?

Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.

– Jim Rohn

It’s been just over four years since my husband and I made this very risky decision for change. And we never ever regretted it.

We were then living the life that we have been told as secure. Life that most people are living.

Our girls were only two and a half then. Sebastian used to leave home early mornings to drive to a job that drained all his energy, and coming back home around dinner time.

I was with my daughters at home, constantly feeling like: just go go go, faster and faster to manage all the things that I thought I had to do.

I wanted to be a perfect mum, spending time with my little babies, cook fresh healthy food, keep the house nice and clean, go for walks, shopping… All the things that most of us do.

There was not much time really for me.

And no time to enjoy just to be.

So there we were, so blessed with each other, with our precious daughters, lucky to have all that was there. So why did I feel this despair? And Sebastian’s panic attacks? Why this feeling of being stuck and life just passing by. The girls growing very fast, him missing out, from weekend to weekend and short holidays?

Don’t you feel sometime the same? Spinning the wheel, getting older, trying to make the best out of each day. But there always something seems to be missing. And you think –  that’s just the way…

So what’s stopping us people? What’s stopping YOU?

I remember the fear from the unknown, fear from change and leaving all that’s familiar, being uncertain of what will and can come. Scared to fail, scared to be disappointed, pressure of those that didn’t believe that we deserve better.

One reason people resist change is because

they focus on what they have to give up,

instead of what they have to gain.

– Rick Godwin

And still, we did it. We moved away, stopped trading time for money, invested all what we had in building our own business, building our own dream, together… Growing and learning and working hard, every day discovering something new and more of what we didn’t even know that we didn’t know was there.

So many opportunities to make life better, ours and also gaining the power to help others too. A vast ocean of new knowledge, so empowering, feeding our mind and soul. New understanding, creation of positive serving us beliefs.

Maybe for the first time ever feeling truly FREE…

Change is hard at first, messy in the middle

and gorgeous at the end.

– Robin Sharma

Face your fears, you have nothing to loose. You could gain a new fulfilling life. You are already half way through.

Don’t wait all week for Friday,

All year for summer,

All life for happiness.

You will still have to work hard to get it going, but not for someone else’s dream and wealth but for your own and those you love.

If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
If you do not ask, the answer will always be NO.
If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.
